Bonnaroo 2011 Preview and Links Aplenty

In less than 48 hours we’ll be posted up at the 2011 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, reveling in the tenth anniversary of the event and bringing it all to you via Twitter and Glide Magazine.  Right now at Glide there’s a special feature written by Shane Handler and I entitled Ten Years of Bonnaroo:  Our Ten Favorite Headlining Sets.  Check it out and see which What stage performances from the past 9 festivals stand out above all of the rest.

Follow us on Twitter and you’ll get a constant stream of updates as we encounter the good, the bad, and the just plain strange in Manchester this weekend.  If that’s not enough, follow along with us and catch streaming sets from the Comedy Tent at ComedyCentral.com.  No word on music webcasts yet, but stay tuned.

Paul Simon in DC Show Review and Bonnaroo Preparations

My review of the May 25, 2011 Paul Simon concert at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC is now up at Glide Magazine!

It is our favorite time of year again here at WMHQ because the Bonnaroo Music Festival is next week!  This will be the tenth edition of the festival and our seventh time attending, and once again we’ll be teaming up with Glide Magazine to bring you extensive daily updates from the event.  As usual, we will also be tweeting live from the festival and keeping you up to date on all things Bonnaroo (follow @WoundedTweeter).  We have also upgraded our photo capabilities, so look for some shots from the event to pop up here and at Glide.  We’ll also look back at great headliners past and break down the schedule for this year’s event, all in the next week – so keep it here!

Follow Me to Bonnaroo Part 2

Alright friends, Bonnaroo 2010 is two weeks away, and it’s time for us to start gathering links and info! Check here for all kinds of interesting stuff. How about webcast info, for starters? For the fans that can’t make it to Manchester, Bonnaroo 2010 and YouTube will feature a live webcast at www.youtube.com/bonnaroo. The webcast will feature over 20 live performances and a collection of Bonnaroo’s best performance clips for on demand viewing after the Festival.

Look for more cool links here over the next two weeks, and an update right before we head to Tennessee!
